The AS103 is an Artcore Custom series hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 2006. It was made in China.
The AS103 features a full-sized, double-cutaway, semi-hollow body design with a laminated flamed maple top with ƒ holes and ivory multi-binding on flamed maple back and sides mated to a set-in maple and walnut neck with a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and abalone custom block position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 Custom humbucking pickups with gold covers and individual volume and tone controls, a Tune-o-matic style bridge with a Quik Change Ultra tailpiece with integrated fine tuners, a plastic nut, a flamed maple pickguard finished to match the body, rosewood knobs, and Ibanez tuning machines with white buttons.
For 2009 the Quik Change Ultra tailpiece was replaced with the Quik Change III which doesn't have fine tuners.
The AS103L is a left-handed version. Several similar models with different body materials were produced — the AS103BM (burl mahogany), the AS103HK (Hawaiian koa), and the AS103SM (spalted maple). The AF105 is a related full-hollow model.
