You want a guitar more powerful than a blast of TNT? How about a guitar for those dirty deeds. It's time to leave everyone who hears you thunderstruck with this Gibson SG Angus Young Signature Thunderstruck!

This beautiful ebony SG is the signature axe of one of the greatest, Angus Young of AC/DC.  Introduced in November 2009, it was based on a refinished '63 SG Standard that Young used heavily live since 1991, with the addition of the lightning bolt inlays.  It has everything you want from an SG. You get the slim lightweight mahogany body with its signature deep double cutaway giving you plenty of access to to the set mahogany neck with a thin profile for speedy playing. The ebony fingerboard is adorned with signature lightning bolts to exemplify his thunderous sounds.  It's important to note that this is an early ebony fretboard version (only done for a few years).

This SG gives you all the electric power you'd ever want with a pair of humbuckers.  The neck position is a '57 Classic (Alnico II) and the bridge position is an Angus Young Signature (Alnico V).  Individual pickup volume and tone controls, with a 3 way switch, let you dial in your favorite tones and this guitar is equally at home with clean or distorted tones.
